Installing the bathtub

During the repair of the bathroom room, the most difficult is the process of installing the bath itself, since this necessary piece of furniture is often very cumbersome. Baths are made of different materials: from acrylic, cast iron, steel. Each of them has its own properties and its expiry date. For example, a cast-iron bath is very massive, so it can be installed anywhere in the bathroom - in the corner and near the wall or in the middle of the room. The water temperature in it remains unchanged for a long time, for example, in a steel bath the water cools quickly. Cast iron supports serve as legs for a cast iron masterpiece, their height can be adjusted. It is these supports that can withstand the weight of the product. It is necessary to correctly choose the bolts and fix them firmly on the body of the bath.

As an alternative to the bolts, metal wedges can be used. The surfaces to be joined must be parallel. If the cast iron supports are not adjustable, then they can only be reduced. This is done by trimming. To give preference to need molded supports, they can reliably hold a heavy bath. Stamped supports are better to exclude. Before installing the bath, you need to fix the floor in the room. Cement screed will make it perfectly smooth. As a floor covering it is desirable to use a ceramic tile. A cast-iron bath is mounted on the finished floor. If the bathroom is pressed against the wall, it is not necessary to lay a ceramic tile on the entire surface of that wall from floor to ceiling. You can put the tile from the edge of the bathtub. If the tile is laid on the whole wall, then the stability of the bath will increase. After installation, all plumbing components are connected.

Steel bath has certain advantages and disadvantages in front of cast iron, they are determined by its small weight. Installation is therefore easier, but it requires a rigid fixation to the wall. which is not very easy to do. Laying tiles occurs after a rigid fixation of the edge to the walls. Steel baths have an aesthetic appearance. Supports created especially for them are also very beautiful.

Acrylic baths have a variety of colors. Such acrylic structures are difficult to scratch - they are very stable, and if a scratch appears, it can be eliminated. Such units are often equipped with self-massage systems, which have a great effect on health, and they fill with water almost silently.
