How to properly sewage in a private house with your own hands

Centralized sewerage for private households, in general, is a dream beyond the clouds. And I want to live comfortably, and this master should do this comfort with his own hands. We will try to suggest the general principles of the organization of private sewerage and septic tank.

The principle of sewerage two-story house

If you want to save the budget, we offer an inexpensive option of sewerage installation:

-Included in one corner bathrooms and toilets of the first and second floors;

- Place cold and hot water in one corner of the first and second floors;

-stage for collection of sewage and sewerage, place in the corner of the first and second floor bathrooms near the outer wall;

- Set the horizontal section with a slope of 3 *;

- for proper operation of the sewage system, to save water and speedily remove solid waste - the toilet flush pipe is installed after the drain pipe for the bathroom and washbasin;

- To eliminate hydraulic shocks from the drain from the upper floors, make a sidebar in the riser, not at a right angle, but at an angle of 45 *;

-to clean the sewer risers, provide for two or three sewers;

- Maintain the slope of the pipe at 2 * -3 * degrees all the way to the place where the cesspool;

- the cesspool must be freely accessible to the sewage system;

-the volume of the cesspool is calculated taking into account the consumption per one person of waste waste of 1.5-2 m3.

The cheapest cesspool construction by own hands

The installation of the cesspool depends directly on the quality of the soil. Sandy loam soil usually filters well the liquid fractions of effluents.

On such soils a deep hole is digging, and so that it does not collapse - a brick laying is made around the circle.

Initially, on the bottom of the pit, a foundation is made along the perimeter. The foundation must have a height of up to 20 cm, the bottom of the pit remains empty. Further, in staggered order, leaving windows up to 10 cm long, brickwork is made.

If there are metal barrels for 200 liters, they cut out the bottom and the barrels are inserted into the cesspool, and the barrels are joined together by a metal yoke. In order for septic tanks to work for a long time, cesspools should be made at least two pieces, at a distance of up to 1 meter from each other.

Both cesspools must be connected to each other by an overflow pipe. Such a self-made septic tank is able to separate solid waste from liquid fractions. The liquid after filling the first container will be poured into the second one. This device allows to significantly extend the service life of self-made septic tanks from cleaning to cleaning.

Do not forget to close the septic tanks with covers and mark the place of the device septic tank.

Helpful Tips

The external sewage pipe from the foundation to the cesspool should be in the freezing zone of the soil, or it must be reliably insulated.

The working volume of the drainage pit is calculated below the inlet of the drain pipe.

Do not forget to make a through ventilation of the sewer system, for this, put the exhaust pipe on the roof of the house.

In the cover of the drain pit, install two exhaust pipes. One exhaust pipe should be up to 20 cm high, and the second one up to 2 meters.

By connecting the sewer pipes, for ease of operation, lubricate the internal O-rings with a solidol.

Make a reliable fastening of the drain riser, if its height is more than 4 meters, ensure the installation of its lower end on a hard surface.
