Raising any structure of concrete or stone, we remember with reverence the tree, this unique natural material. Indeed, the aroma of wood and a stylish appearance attract and allow you to create building masterpieces. And if you get a thermo tree under your arm, comfort and coziness in the house is provided to you and your grandchildren. By the way, what do you know about the thermo-tree?

New building material - a thermo-tree
It is known that wooden structures from the effects of temperature and humidity drop over time are deformed and take a crumpled appearance. But not a thermo tree!
Innovative technological process of wood processing under the influence of temperature allows to impart new improved qualities to the material. The production of a thermo-tree is a new, but rather promising, type of building material predicted by a bright future.
Thermal tree - what is it?
What is a thermal tree
Natural wood has the following qualitative characteristics:
• elasticity
• density
• swelling.
The natural ornamentality of woodwork creates a combination of physical properties: fiber, color, pattern and texture. According to its physical properties, the thermal wood is different from natural wood.
To begin with, heat-treated wood has improved dimensional stabilization with tangential and radial cutting methods. Of course, with different methods of sawing wood and subsequent heat treatment, the price of a thermo-tree will be significantly different.
anatomy of thermo-wood
The peculiar surface of wood treated with a thermal method at a temperature of more than 200 degrees and elevated pressure, determine the anatomical elements. When heat treated, resins are removed from the wood, and resin residues are polymerized and remain inside as a rigid polymer.
The microorganism is burnt out under the influence of temperature, so the decomposition of wood does not subsequently occur.
Thermal technology is laborious, so products have a high price.
The final result is resistant wood with a low water absorption coefficient and stress, which is used in construction. However, the design and profile of boards that have been heat-treated are no different from traditional lining.
Where is the thermal wood used
In contrast to the field of application of traditional wood, the scope of use of thermal wood is more diverse and includes:
• multivariance of the plank for interior and exterior decoration of premises
• manufacture of steam rooms, baths and saunas, as well as wet rooms, including the manufacture of furniture
• laying of floor coverings: parquet and floorboards
• high-quality window and door structures with stable geometry
• manufacture of garden parquet and terraced board, as well as staircases
• constructions of pavilions and piers.
Imagine yourself swimming in a pool lined with thermal wood with increased trauma safety. Elegant, is not it! Naturally, the desire to build a similar will be justified.
Thermo wood in the interior
In the interior of apartments and private houses, thermally treated wood took an honorable place. Wood is used for facing facades and laying the floor. There are structural wood and for working with the interior.
thermal facade
A board of a thermal tree, such as Termowood, is used to decorate a facade of any type.
For framed buildings, when plating a facade, boards without a groove and a tenon (planken) are used.
Planken is a board made of wood with bevels removed from all four corners.
This form is considered an ideal and practical option for facing and cladding walls and facades, fencing elements. Distinguish planken from the thermal tree straight and sloping. When facing a straight plank, they are sewed back and forth, leaving a small gap, and the beveled bevel overlap, masking the ventilation gaps.
The basis of the facade design for wood are the guides from the bars with a minimum section of 20x40 mm and a standard installation step up to 600 mm. Thus, the facade covered with a thermal board is a ventilated structure.
The way of fastening and boards for facade cladding should be chosen correctly. Fastening of boards to guides is carried out in an open or hidden way, using self-tapping screws and slats.
Fastening straps - planfixes are steel profile plates. For an open mounting method, the screws are screwed into the prepared holes, eliminating the possibility of cracking the mounting boards. As a facade cladding, preference should be given to the thermosung and thermo-hygiene. For design projects the most popular is ash.
thermal wood floor
The density and homogeneity of the structure of the boards from the thermal tree makes it possible to create an ultramodern floor covering without additional ties and cracks. At the same time, the floor of a thermo-tree goes well with a traditional board.
When laying the floor, there is no need to select boards according to texture and color, the uniformity of the structure will be provided by the drawing of the thermal wood. Floor boards can be tempered and intensive heat treatment, have a profile designation F2 and F3. The industry produces boards with a thickness of 15 and 18 mm and a width of 77.90, 150, 190 mm.
In addition to the traditional profiles of the boards, there is an engineering thermowather profile F6, consisting of several layers:
• the top layer made of solid wood
• the middle layer collected from the transverse strips of the tree
• a lower layer with an insignificant thickness.
Engineering thermal boards are supplied by the manufacturer without any coating, providing the possibility of applying varnishes and special oils to your own taste.
