• the modulus of elasticity is dynamic.
Recall that the lower the elasticity of fibrous plates, the better the absorption of sound.
The sound absorption index means the fraction of the absorbed sound energy.
Preferred materials are mineral wool and fiberglass. So, for example, the index of sound absorption of cotton wool is about 0.9.
The dynamic model of elasticity is a qualitative indicator, therefore, the lower it is, the more comfortable the atmosphere will be under the roof. For reference: the index of the modulus of elasticity of mineral wool is 0.3. For many, the parameters of the sound absorption index and the elastic modulus remain an empty sound.
How to make noise insulation of the roof
The noise insulation installation technology assumes the following stages:
• laying waterproofing
• installation of a billet
• laying noise insulation materials
• The roof covering is installed.
It is necessary to pay attention to such factors, which can be considered as fundamental for carrying out sound insulation works on the roof:
• Correct acoustic isolation at the points where the roof joins the interior trim and rafters
• the presence of a gap between the material soundproofing and enclosing structure.

Sound insulation of the roof from the corrugated board is made from inside the attic space. So, before you rafters, and on top - profiled.
Initially, sound insulation begins with the installation of a roll-up waterproofing. The waterproofing film is lapped up to 15 cm and with a slight sag of the material. The film is attached using staples.

If slabs are used as a soundproof material, laying the slabs should be done between the roof rafter beams on the inside. Plates should be laid flat without crushing and bending the edges or other deformation of the insulating material.
The preliminary cutting of the soundproof material for the existing dimensions of the rafter space should be done taking into account the allowance up to 10 mm. Presence of allowance during installation will allow to install plates between rafters tightly. On top of the soundproof material will be connected to the crate. Attention should be paid to the installation of acoustic bridges, which physically transmit sound vibrations to the walls of the house.
The appearance of the resonant surface of the roof heater can not simply be extinguished. Therefore, it is recommended to install an insulating gasket. Fix corrugated board after sealing joints.
The most effective material that will be able to extinguish the arising noise from the metal tile are the plates of mineral wool and fiberglass. The process of noise insulation of the roof of the house from the metal tile is not technologically different from the noise insulation of the roof made of corrugated board.

The TECSOUND SY 70 membrane is laid as follows. On a horizontally placed sheet of gypsum board, the membrane prepared for installation is laid. It is necessary to provide a stock of material on each side of 1 cm. When unfolding a roll with a membrane, a protective film layer is removed. After the final packing, the excess material is cut off. The finished sheet of plasterboard with a membrane is installed in the place of attachment, namely between the vapor barrier and the main structure of the system.
