Lighting the apartment. Bedroom lighting options in the interior of a modern apartment, original tips and ways of installing fixtures

It's no secret that lighting plays, if not leading, then an important role in the interior design of a modern apartment. From the lighting depends on how the housing will look and, also, how people will feel in it. It is especially important to choose the right bedroom lighting. Indeed, in a dream a person spends a third of his existence, and the quality of his life depends directly on the quality of sleep. The light in the bedroom should be necessarily pleasant and not irritate the eyes. But how correctly to organize such a correct ceiling lighting in the bedroom? This will be discussed in today's short article.

Lighting the ceiling in the bedroom with spotlights

Lighting a bedroom without a chandelier using spotlights is fashionable, creative and very practical. Small lamps can be placed both on the tension and on the suspended, as well as on the plasterboard ceiling, so that the room is filled with uniform light from above. The best option would be a uniform placement of spotlights throughout the perimeter of the bedroom ceiling. Change the intensity of illumination of spotlights as necessary with the help of a conventional switch that regulates the brightness of light.

Using dotted ceiling lighting in the bedroom, you can turn it into a real planetarium.

It's so cool to look at the starry sky, lying in your bed! If it does not impress you, then, believe me, your children will definitely like this.

The lighting of the ceiling in the children's bedroom can be made in the form of a constellation, and to give credence, the asterisks can even flash. Imagine how happy your child will go to bed in the evening! With such a fabulous ceiling, putting him to sleep will no longer be the No. 1 problem in your family.

LED bedroom lighting with their own hands

LED lighting the bedroom can be done with your own hands. This can be done very simply and conveniently with the help of LED strips and a power supply (or, alternatively, a driver) switch. If you have basic knowledge and skills of wiring electricity, then it will be absolutely easy to cope.

Let us briefly consider the very essence of the work on installing an LED tape on the bedroom ceiling. First we will prepare all the tools necessary for work. Do not forget about the stable stepladder - after all we will work under the ceiling at altitude. First we shoot our old lighting, which we use now (if we want to change it to a new, LED). If we initially set the LED, then this point, of course, will be missed. Our goal is to put a circular LED strip around the ceiling. But before you mount it to the ceiling, you should test the tape. You can not even unwind, just connect it to the outlet and find out whether there is any marriage, whether all the lamps are lit. If everything is in order, then proceed to the installation.

First we start cleaning - remove the accumulated dust in those places on the ceiling, to which we will glue our LED tape, then begin to unwind it, gradually, in a circle, removing the protective base from the adhesive side of the tape, glue our tape neatly on the ceiling in a circle. From such a sticky tape at first can go a sharp chemical smell of glue, but do not worry - it will very soon erode by itself. So, further we put the ends of the LED tape on the terminal of the driver (power supply) we have (additionally purchased), carefully check the electrical polarity, and after the work is over, we carefully check whether everything was right.

In the construction shop you can purchase a special wall profile for attaching LED lights. As we see, it's very convenient to use LED strip. And the result is obvious!

It can be launched as a multi-level gypsum cardboard ceiling, and simply along the border of walls and wallpaper, around the perimeter of the room, gluing both to the ceiling and to the heat sink base. It turns out very beautiful. See for yourself!

However, we simply do not recommend you to glue the tape to the ceiling, because when you glue it on any base other than metal, and turn on for a long time, from the influence of high temperature, the phosphor of light-emitting diodes very quickly deteriorates - it darkens, which diminishes the brightness of their glow. Therefore, we recommend using a profile for factory-made LED ribbons (if you did not find one, then you can think of something yourself). Someone, for example, not having found a profile for fixing an LED strip at the moment, uses aluminum profiles for sliding doors. Here, as in any other question, the main thing is only to want. And there is always a way. A little imagination - and your little bedroom will be transformed with the help of LED spot lighting beyond recognition!

Methods of installing spotlights

Spotlights can be divided into groups by the method of installation-invoices, recessed and suspended.

So, the overhead lamps, judging by their name, are applied to the surface of the ceiling or walls, because they can not be built in this place (for example, on a hard surface, such as concrete). Also, the design idea of lighting a bedroom with overlaid luminaires is not excluded.

Also, spotlights are hanging. The very name speaks for itself - they are suspended from the place that they planned to initially zadekorirovat with the help of a pendant lamp.

Embedded (embedded) spotlights are built directly into the suspended ceiling or into the walls. Also, you can often see their use in the decoration of modern furniture (wardrobes, hallways, bedroom sets and kitchens). This - the most common and popular among consumers kind of lamps.

In turn, built-in point lights can be classified into single-lamp and multi-lamp (by lighting method).

Such fixtures are both turning and non-rotating.

Turnability is a very useful feature. With it, you can change the appearance of the room beyond recognition. The way in the lamp of the lamps, what they have shape, and also the dimensions - it all depends on the taste of the consumer.

If we talk about the ways of installing lamps in the bedroom, then they can be used simultaneously with the chandelier. Chandelier - in the center of the ceiling, and spot lights - around the perimeter. That is, if you need to brightly and intensively illuminate the entire room at once, then you can turn on the chandelier. And if the total illumination is undesirable, then it is possible to switch on spot lights selectively, for example, only above the wardrobe (or in the dressing room), or just above the bed (or you can hold the LED ribbon directly on the bed itself). Of course, this will be possible only if they are phased in initially, at the time of installation.

LED bedroom lighting will be more durable, unless you install very powerful spotlights in hard-to-reach places, where they will then be difficult to replace, and use small or medium-power lamps. You can combine them with a chandelier, and if you need a bright directional light to illuminate the entire room, then turn on the chandelier, and if muffled - then the spotlights.

Also, we would not recommend attaching an LED strip to a normal, whitened ceiling, because with such a glow all its flaws will be immediately visible. It is best to mount the LEDs on the hanging or even on the tension ceiling.

Among the advantages of using spotlights is that they are very economical to use, compared to conventional lamps, the energy consumption when using them is less than 40 W.

In conclusion of this article, we offer you a small video about the use of spotlights in the bedroom.
