The preliminary stage before the installation of the roof is the calculation of the required amount of material or calculation of the useful covered area, taking into account vertical and lateral overlaps when laying ondulin.
When calculating it is recommended to take into account the angle of inclination of the roof slope. Let's say that on average S useful 1 sheet is from 1.3 to 1.6 m2. To calculate the amount of material, it is recommended to use the on line calculator.

- length and number of rafters

A continuous crate under the sheets of the Euro-sphere is arranged on the cornice overhang and under the valley, racks of 1x4 cm section are placed depending on the inclination of the roof. For example, for an inclination angle of 10-15 °, the distance is 45 cm, for a roofing angle of up to 10 °, a continuous plywood flooring or a plank board is mounted. For a ventilated roof when installing ondulin sheets, it is necessary to provide for the laying of a vapor diffusion membrane and a vapor barrier film before installing the lath.
In addition to the standard onduline sheets, additional elements will be used to create the roof: the valley, the elements of the ridge, the gable profile and the lining carpet used to cover if the pipe passes through the roof. Therefore, for the design of the ribs and the roof ridge, the installation of a tongs or a ridge element is performed.
